WordPress Website Manager, Web Designer/Developer (freelance/remote)

We’re looking for a 1099/Contractor Wordpress/Divi front-end web developer/designer and website manager.

This opportunity is for 1099 Independent Contractors, or Corp-to-Corp (C2C) if you have your own company (***we will only consider recruiters or C2C vendors if you or your candidate submit through our website application, submitting under your company name and the hourly rate***).
 
We’re a small business consulting and marketing company working with end user companies on projects. We have need for ongoing internal web updates, new websites, and occasional client landing page building and form styling.
 
Hours per week will vary depending on many factors, but typically you can expect to see around 5-15 hours per week but will vary (ongoing relationship), possibly more depending on the fit.
 
Must have hands-on 2-3 years of WordPress front-end web design and development experience, including using Divi theme. (Ideal if also know HubSpot CMS but not required.)
 
Must be willing to work within our task toolset (Clickup and Slack) for managing tasks.
 
Must be good communicator (good spelling/grammar), and responsive to task requests in our toolset (within 24hrs to respond, typically 12-48hrs to complete). Client facing skills not required. U.S. based or Mountain Time zone helpful but not required.
 
  • Preferred Proficiencies
    • must know:
      • WordPress (somewhat technical AND knows web design)
        • can do technical site restructuring and layout changes as needed (headers, sidebars, custom post types, etc.)
        • can provide input and help with design changes including providing images/graphics
        • advise and execute on site optimizations as needed (site speed, consolidate/reduce plugins, conversion optimization, funnels, etc.)
        • occasional help with fixing things after site maintenance updates
        • some content updates
      • Divi (advanced skills)
      • HTML/CSS
      • SEO
        • help with SEO and SEO strategy (strong skills, familiar with SEM Rush or Ahrefs)
    • ideal if know:
      • Clickup
      • Slack
      • SEM Rush or Ahrefs
      • WP Engine
      • Cloudflare
      • HubSpot CMS
      • Marketing
Rate commensurate with experience.
